Writing

From writers’ rooms on network TV to collaborating with top comedy talent, to crafting treatments and scripts for producers— Six-plus years in Hollywood have taught me one thing: storytelling comes in many forms, and every project is an opportunity to bring something fresh to the screen.

Television Shows

Below are three network TV shows I was lucky to be a part of. On each, I worked in the fast-paced writers’ room environment—learning to craft compelling narratives alongside some of the sharpest writers, joke-makers, and storytellers in comedy TV.

Superstore

NBC’s hit comedy ran for six fantastic seasons. I was lucky to join the team in Season 5, collaborating with a talented group of writers and actors who made every day memorable.

Downward Dog

An indie darling on ABC—and a show I’ll always be proud to have worked on. It made history as the first network comedy to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017.

Portlandia

Helped “keep Portland weird” during Seasons 3 and 4 of this iconic sketch comedy. Every day felt like a comedy masterclass—and an absolute riot.

“You’re nuts… but, you’re welcome here.”

—Steve Martin

Steve Martin’s comedy albums were my gateway into the world of comedy. My dad introduced me to those albums—some might say a little too young—and ever since, I was hooked. For better or worse.

Comedy has always been a cornerstone of my writing, storytelling, and outlook on life. Over the years in Hollywood, I’ve had the privilege to learn from some of the best in the business. That journey continued at All Things Comedy Network, founded by Bill Burr and Al Madrigal, where I worked alongside some of the funniest comedians and sharpest comedy writers around.

During my time there, I collaborated closely with a true comedy powerhouse—an actor, writer, producer, and all-around creative force. Together, we developed several TV, film, and multi-media projects.

Due to NDAs, I can’t share too much, but trust me—it was good stuff.
